Noise Exposure
Maps
The Federal Aviation Administration has determined that the Noise
Exposure Maps submitted last year to the FAA by Piedmont Triad
Airport Authority as part of its FAR Part 150 noise study are in
compliance with applicable regulations. The Noise Exposure Maps are
scaled, geographic depictions of the airport, its noise contours and
surrounding area. The 2006 base case and 2014 forecast Noise
Exposure Maps, a letter from the FAA to the Authority regarding the
acceptance of the maps, and the FAA's notice of such acceptance in
the June 19, 2008, Federal Register may be viewed by clicking on the

The supporting documentation, which makes up part of the Noise
