Noise Exposure Maps

The Federal Aviation Administration has determined that the Noise Exposure Maps submitted last year to the FAA by Piedmont Triad Airport Authority as part of its FAR Part 150 noise study are in compliance with applicable regulations. The Noise Exposure Maps are scaled, geographic depictions of the airport, its noise contours and surrounding area. The 2006 base case and 2014 forecast Noise Exposure Maps, a letter from the FAA to the Authority regarding the acceptance of the maps, and the FAA's notice of such acceptance in the June 19, 2008, Federal Register may be viewed by clicking on the icons to the left.

The supporting documentation, which makes up part of the Noise Exposure Maps, is listed in the Federal Register notice and may be found in the Revised Final Report for the Part 150 Study, which may be located by returning to the home page of this website and clicking on Final Report.
